Clay Arts Guild Contest

Saturday, March 11, 2PM

The theme this year is Vases. The judge this year, Andree Singer Thompson, is a sculptor and was a Raku instructor at the studio years ago. Her work is featured in the display case. Thanks to Mimi wild and Linda Shubin for coordinating this great annual event.

The Judging and awards party is at the Studio on March 11th at 2:00 PM.

You can bring in your boxed entries anytime between Saturday March 4th and Saturday, March 11th at 10:00AM and place them on the table in the the library. Please make sure your name is on your box and the entry is enclosed.

We would like to display category winners will be displayed in the display window. All other work will be available to take home after the contest.

The Walnut Creek Clay Arts Guild Spring Sale is coming.

The sale is scheduled for May 5-7, 2017 at Civic Park.

Individually crafted ceramics for gifts, home, and office by Clay Arts Guild members and CAE instructors, featuring planters, hanging planters, and wall pots with live plants, as well as wall art, wind chimes, bird feeders & houses, fountains, garden sculpture,and garden lights.

Sale includes art pottery, sculpture, and dinnerware; hand-built and wheel-thrown pieces; stoneware, raku, and salt- and pit-fired works.
